Default Club Car 36v solenoids?

I have a 1983 Club Car 36v. When I touch the accelerator pedal, it takes off full throttle. The rear tires squeel and the front comes off the ground. The high speed solenoid was stuck closed, so I replaced it and the solenoid next to it. I still have the problem. What is the next thing I should check?

The micro switch for the same solenoids may have failed closed? Somehow one of the high speed solenoids is always closed (activated) when it should not be. There is a micro switch for each one of those solenoids in a silver box at the end of the gas peddle linkage.

I took that out and took off the end cap. It looks like it is all working. Do I need to replace the whole thing? Is that called the speed assembly?

I would get 5 new micro switches and the white plastic slide that activates them and rebuild it.... Then replace the rest of the solenoids and you'll have a refreshed speed control system..... good for another 25 years.

I just replaced the rest of the solenoids and the micro switches and slide are on the way here. Now I just found that the red swith on the forward / reverse switch has a broken terminal. It has a blue wire and a yellow wire going to it and is activated by the shift handle. What is this thing called? Do I need to replace the whole forward / reverse switch?
