On thing I do notice is my taillights stay on when the brake is locked and key on. I'm not sure if they time out or just stay on. Of course turning the key off or not locking the brake pedal will solve this. |

Re: Installed my voltage meter from Scotty today
I did but they never turned off. Maybe I need to leave it on longer to see. This is the factory light kit and wonder if anyone else could confirm that it in fact does this and what controls this time out feature?

Re: Installed my voltage meter from Scotty today
My cart didn't have the factory light and the kit that was installed on it didn't have brake light wiring. So I took matters into my own hands and made a bracket for a microswitch and installed it underneath the pedal assembly. I didn't like the 30sec timer idea so I took another microswitch and installed it on the back of the park brake arm and wired it in series with the brake light switch to cut the lights when parked. As for voltage gauges I run one for pack voltage and one for converter output and never had a problem with strange readings. The trigger voltage for both gauges are paralleled and I pick up pack voltage in the dash.
