Maybe when you install yours, you will have the solution for us? I just don't have the time to mess with it for hours at a time.

I will defiantly will be installing a meter but haven't decided on a converter yet as I don't really use my headlamp. I was thinking of going the dedicated battery route if I install a battery.

On thing I do notice is my taillights stay on when the brake is locked and key on. I'm not sure if they time out or just stay on. Of course turning the key off or not locking the brake pedal will solve this.

I guess when the brake is pushed, it activates the brake switch, just like your car!

Correct, but I thought I read somewhere that it times out, how I do not know. Then again I could be wrong.

I read about a 30 second timer on some. You should try it!

I did but they never turned off. Maybe I need to leave it on longer to see. This is the factory light kit and wonder if anyone else could confirm that it in fact does this and what controls this time out feature?

My cart didn't have the factory light and the kit that was installed on it didn't have brake light wiring. So I took matters into my own hands and made a bracket for a microswitch and installed it underneath the pedal assembly. I didn't like the 30sec timer idea so I took another microswitch and installed it on the back of the park brake arm and wired it in series with the brake light switch to cut the lights when parked. As for voltage gauges I run one for pack voltage and one for converter output and never had a problem with strange readings. The trigger voltage for both gauges are paralleled and I pick up pack voltage in the dash.

Before I had the converter, I got pack volts from the dash as well. The converter changed all of that. Now I have to run directly to the pack, no big deal it's done. Everything works great, but it was a small hassle getting to this point.
