Default Want to convert 48 volt battery club car to generator powered ( Honda 2000i generator

I use this golfcart at Burning Man (August, Nevada desert) and have the normal six 8-volt batteries. I understand that it can be powered directly with a generator. I currently top off the batteries with 4 solar panels running through
a solar charge controller that puts out 48volts. Anyone have experience with this? I would like to use my small, quiet Honda 2000 generator.
