The 4 wire pot has 2 pairs. Test the short pair by connecting an ohm meter to the pair and depress the pedal. The meter should read 0-5000Ω. Now hold the second pair together. The meter reading should be reduced 50%. This connection is made by the reverse micro switch on the F&R.
Note that an Alltrax SR control has a different programmable reduced reverse feature that is active when battery (+) is present at the J1 blue terminal. PLEASE EVERYBODY - Do not ask repair questions in this thread. Start your own thread in the Ezgo electric section where myself and other enthusiasts and techs will assist you in fixing the problem. This is a mess - Nobody is monitoring this thread. Admin should not allow questions on stickies IMHO |
