Default 2003 Club Car won't run after installing lift kit

I have a 2003 club car that I just installed a jakes 6 inch lift kit.
I replaced the rear shocks and leaf springs with 4 leaf springs.
while I was installing the rear lift, the axle/motor fell down. I didn't notice that any wires broke or became disconnected, but they were tight.
Now,after I completed the lift kit when I tried to move the cart (after charging the batteries overnight), the solenoid in the back clicks , but the cart doesn't move.My plan is to check battery voltage and re check all connections. I was wondering if anyone has any additional suggestions..
This is also the first time I have tried to run the cart after storing all winter in Michigan. Batteries are 7 years old. would a bad battery still charge on the charger and cause these symotoms?

Thanks

welcome, pull tug all cables make sure one didn,t come loose it only takes one, as for the batteries yes a bad battery will stop the cart cold so check voltage and again after you charge the pack....................

I just checked the battery voltage and read 49.2 Volts across all batteries.
two of the batteries read 8.02V. I re-checked all connections and pulled on all of the wires to make sure there wasn't a loose connection. The cart still doesn't move, forward or reverse. The reverse alarm comes on when switched to reverse. The solenoid in the back clicks and after a few seconds , it clicks again. I did notice that it seemed to just very slightly move before the solenoid clicked off. I'm guessing the solenoid is turning on and then off. I have the charger on and will check voltage again after it runs its cycle. Is 49 volts sufficient voltage?
Should I check the voltage while press the run pedal (under load)??

I appreciate any suggestions

Check the wires to the motor. Could you have yanked one and broke it internally when lowering the rear. That would be my guess?

I just remembered something, when I first hooked up the battery cables, I only had the cable from the FNR switch. I tried ruinning the charger, Then I noticed andhooked up the cable to the solenoid. did I do any damage here?
