Default 2001 Villager 6 Mods

I have a 2001 villager 6 passenger cart, its super clean and runs and works well, batteries are 1 year old. Its fairly slow and was wondering what are some reasonable modifications to increase the speed?

Also has anyone lifted these carts, if so what would you suggest, seems these come with 4 wheel brakes and are there any issues with the lift? Or should I just put larger wheels and tires and keep it stock suspension?

We can better assist you if you figure out which drive system the cart is equipped with. Check this link to help you figure that out and let us know.

David, thanks for responding. The cart isn't at my house and I can get more photos this weekend, however I have some old photos that may help here, also its an 2002 model, Number is club car KO240.

A. By your diagram the F&R lever its the club car series.
B. Controller, I attached one of the old photos. Controller model number is 1204-412 controller test services LLC

Hope this helps?
