![]() New to the forum. Just purchased a 2020 Star Serius 2 passenger electric cart. Love the cart so far, hate the back up buzzer. Anyone know how to disconnect it? TIA!

new Icon's backup buzzer even louder...I disconnected it. I just don't recall where the Sirius 2 buzzer is located but either under the dash or under the cooler trunk outside near the front... Just as a word of caution....if your brakes ever start to squeal or pulse.. they are under warranty...took 3+ weeks to get new drums and shoes.. they had to be replaced because the drums were out of round and could not be trued up...blowing out the drums, shoes and sanding down the original shoes lasted 1 month before the brakes starting screaching squealing again.. I did love the Sirius' control panel...a beautifully featured cart. Happy cartin' Best wishes |

Has the problem been rectified yet? Btw the right rear brake was the worst of the 2 rear brakes. How long has he has his Sirius? |

![]() My back up buzzer was behind the key switch/dash (four screws to remove) and bundled in a wire harness. If I recall it was black, just unplug one wire (they are slide on disconnects) and you should be all set. All my wires where tied together by a zip tie I think, but it was in that bundle of wires.
Buzzer kinda looks like this: ![]() They are super annoying and I am so glad I removed mine. |

![]() Yeah I agree- I have a 2021 Capella and it went to the dealer 7 times for the brake issue… finally got the entire rear end replaced and that fixed the problem. If you see brake dust on the rear wheels (left specifically if you’re sitting in the drivers’ seat) get ready for some issues. Ridiculous for a new cart
