Default Tomberlin 500le loses power

I have a 2009 Tonberlin 500le. New Trojan batteries that show 51v on full charge. Curtain controller is showing 1-2 fault code. It will start going like normal and reach 20 mph. Mid ride the speedometer will shut off and immediately back on and the cart start slowing down and motor tries slowing down. Sometime i can lift up on pedal and push back down and motor will reengage and sometimes I have to come to complete stop and reengage. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Is this only happening when using the #1 spot with your key or both?

I have something similar happening. Can't really describe it better than you did except I haven't noticed my speedometer shutting off.
Mine seems to happen only when key is in #1 position although I'm not sure if I've tested #2 as much. Batteries are new and happened with old and new batteries and are charged. Parking brake switch is new and this also happened when I bypassed the switch.

It is like there is a switch that has failed or is arcing.

Mine is a 2010 Tomberlin Emerge 500LE

Well it happened when my key was turned to #2 also unfortunately.

Could this be the hall effect sensor for the accelerator pedal?

I took it for another drive and I noticed when the power cuts off it feels like it is braking or there is resistence to moving forward. Does that indicate speed sensor?
