![]() Hi all......
So I recently purchased a running 1987 Yamaha Phazer snowmobile ($150) in hopes to pull the motor and place it into my 1997 Yamaha G16A. One thing I noticed when looking over the Phazer more closely is (when standing at the back) the clutch and shaft are on the right side (Passenger). On my G16A it looks like the shaft and the clutch are on the left side (Driver). Does this mean that I have to turn the motor backwards and run in reverse? I have been reading on the boards here that seems to be the case but could only find info on EZs. Would this be the same for my Yamaha? If so would the gear ratio work? |
