![]() Not sure what i have but the EZGO model # is L498 with an ALLTRAX speed controller.
The cart when not move forward or reverse. My problem is when i push on the gas pedal the solenold will click and the light on the controller will light up green and then turn red after about 3or 4 seconds. The reverse buzzer will sound in reverse. I removed the forward and reverse selector that has the 4 copper contacts and cleaned good and reassembled. Checked with continuity meter and it is making connections when turned. All the battery connectors to batteries are good and clean and tight. It did this one other time and it started working again. I dont know what i did or if i did anything to correct it. But this time it will not start working again ?? What else should i check?? THANKS ![]() ![]() Bg |

![]() Its been cutting out for about a month and now it quit and i took it all apart and clean contact on the switch plate - (4 copper contacts). I thought that was the problem but it did not fix it. Further checking with the micro i tapped on the side of it and it started working. The part number i have is WZ-2RW8225522T-S is that just a standard #795 golf cart micro switch? Are both switches the same?
This cart is a friends and it is a 98 EZGO L 498 36 volt THANKS |

![]() I have found that WZ-2RW8225522T-S is hard to find. A good replacement is Z-15GW22-B7-K. It is identical to the original except that it has a center Normally Open (NO) terminal. Just ignore that terminal and connect the 2 red wires to the COM terminal and the Blue wire to the NC terminal on the ends of the switch. I posted this in case someone else finds this Part Number and needs a replacement.
