Default Club Car lift installed

OK
I started last night about 5:30 and I had both front spindles done and was ready to go out to eat at 7:00 and I took a shower too! No pictures of that!!!!!!!

1990 Club Car lift install!

Now what I do have pictures of is the lift install on the passenger side which is the same for the driver's side except the driver's side only has one tie rod fitting to take loose.
First think about safety all the time when working with anything you have to jack up off the ground. I placed two jack stands under the frame and used the floor jack only to raise the cart up.

This is for the passenger side which is just like the Driver side.

#1. First take the lugs loose before you jack the cart up.
#2. After you get the wheel off this is what you see. The two tie rods and spindle and hub with shock mounts.

I like to take the dust cap off next and disassamble the hub from the spindale. Take cotter key out back nut off and slide the hub off.
Then disconnect the tie rods. Sorry I got to taking it apart and forgot about a picture of it.

I had to use my pickle fork on the driver's side but the two on the passenger side came right off. Huh..
Now your ready to take the spindale off.

See the nut in this next picture. Take it loose. Don't worry about the other end it's made to the spindale it want turn. Pull the bracket up and slide the spindale off.

Now your ready to reassemble it all.
Just put everything back as you took it off.
Here is the new spindale mounted.

I always re-grease everything as I go too. Use new cotter key's also.
The tie rods in the new spindale assembly.

Not sure. IMO doesn't look very safe though. Just think what would happen if that bolt holding the spindle on snapped.

Plum Quick is correct. As far as safety goes. It's as good as anything out there in my opinion. Now with that being said I wouldn't punish it like some people do like jumping it.
90% of all lifted carts very seldom see any hard off roading. I think it's fine. It's going to be a street cruiser anyway!

That's true.
Product choice definitly depends on the intended use.
Thanks for the pics. Keep us posted. I 've got one just like it waiting...for some decisions.

KMC Stealths FTW. I had a set back in 99 on a lowered silverado. What year truck is that 71 72?

The cart also looks good, Did the wheels bolt right up? 4 on 4 bolt pattern right? I think hondas or 4 x 100? I may be wrong.

1971 Chevy truck.
VW wheels are 4 on 4 and bolt right up.
Honda, vega, mazda and other's all will work on these carts.
