Default a 12v power solution

Many people ask if they can hook a 12v unit to 2 6v batteries for a power source. This works but will drain those two batteries down lower than the other batteries and create an imbalance situation.
I am looking for a battery charger for my ezgo and found out that there are 2,3,4,5,6, etc bank chargers. Each bank being 12volts. Each bank has its own microprocessor so it would charge each 12v to its needed charge, eliminating a battery imbalance situation.
If you had a 6 bank charger you could charge a 48v pack plus 2 12 volt , or charge a 72v pack or any other combination.
What do ya'll think about it?
