New motor (fe 290) installed today brand new belt installed also just had to ask,,,,had my son in law drive the cart at full speed....while I watched the pully....and the top of the belt comes to about 1/2 to 3/4 inch below the top of the drive pully.... I remember reading that to increase speed and/or power this belt needed to be at or just above the top of the drive pully... question??: what adjustment can/do you make to get the belt to ride higher on the pully?? |

![]() I believe CPPs machining of the drive clutch allows the halves to come closer together which would let the belt ride higher for more top speed.
