![]() club car charger not working, checked everything out, all seems to be good except transformer but do not understand why even w/bad transformer if relay is good should it not still click?

![]() No, the board has to sense voltage from the transformer to operate properly....no voltage, no click.
Also, the charger will not work unless it is plugged into the cart period. (unless you hotwire it somehow.) Some chargers sense voltage directly from the batteries, while some carts have an On Board Computer (Charger control) to sense voltage in the battery pack and control the charger. If your trying to get it to come on by just plugging in the AC side it will never work, you have to have it plugged into the cart with a pack voltage of 28 or so volts......48 volt cart will need a higher voltage. |
