i had no voltage on the the two solenoid posts but when i went yellow wire to positive and green wire to positive i had 38 volts on both posts

If You have no voltage between the Green and pack negative, the issue is the micro-switch inside the VGlide. If you just replaced it, make sure you used the correct terminals on that switch: COM and NC.. Also make sure there is no diode on the solenoid small posts. |

i have a positive key switch though so i ran the tests for the positive key switch

If You have a "positive key switch", then your first test was the wrong one.
Yellow to pack negative should be 36v or the micro switch in the FNR is bad. That micro-switch uses the COM and NO terminals. You should also verify that you do have +36v on the blue wire at the FNR micro-switch or the issue is with the key switch circuit. |
