Default What is this? MS? Volt Reducer?

1982 EXGO. I traced the power from the battery to this module, which is mounted on the assembly that holds the solenoid and I cannot get current to go through it nor an ohms check.

Looks like some kind of buzzer or vibrator.

That never occurred to me, but makes sense since it has a flapper on it. So I would guess it's not involved in the reason I cannot get this thing to run?

I think that is a reverse beeper. Check the stickys at the top of the electric ezgo page, there are the wiring diagrams posted there!

So I have been staring at diagrams for 2 days. I believe the one of my setup is the one i attached. My wiring in the cart is somewhat different and I think I wanna take everything apart and re-wire it like the diagram shows. What yall think? Bad idea?

seeing as how you have a resistor cart......my suggestion would be to do a "Resistor to Solid State Conversion"

The conversion does cost money, and on a 3 wheel cart that is that old, it's really not worth it. Besides, once you have it running it's a near bulletproof system. See if this diagram matches what you've got any better, I think it may. It's the one I was referring to in your other thread, I just didn't know there were like 3 diagram stickies up there.

Hope this helps you out!

That diagram matches very closely, but my setup has 2 microswitches on the F/R assembly, so I went with this one attached.

Hmmm... I say go with making it look like the diagram you found and see what happens. Just make sure to take note and take pics of where stuff is at before you start.
