Hello, i was going to use red high temp permatex silicone gasket maker with the muffler gasket together, does anybody think it will work a better seal on it? Thanks

Where's the gasket? Should be two rings around the exhaust on the cylinder.

I would not use silicone on the flange gasket. Silicone does burn.

I do not think that will work.
It gets screaming hot right there.

Just pony up for the correct gaskets and fix it right. You will be glad you did.
