Default New yamaha drive headlights intermittently don't turn on

I have an electric yamaha drive and the headlights will turn on, I'll drive over to a neighbors house, sit for a couple hours and when I go to turn them back on about 25% of the time they won't come on. Other times there is no issue. When they won't come on and i drive back to the house. I'll throw it on the charger and when I come back out they will flip on.

I don't think the charge has anything to do with it because it never gets below 75% per the battery gauge.

Any ideas???

You either have a problem with a loose connection of a bad voltage converter that generates the 12V for the lights. If it's like my cart, the lights do not come on when the key switch is off. The key switch powers the voltage converter that changes 48V to 12V. I would look there for the problem.

Factory installed lights, or dealer installed lights, or you installed lights?

My lights come on without the key switch turned on.

We ordered it from the factory with the headlight kit. I was under the impression that it was factory installed.
