Default 96 club car valve adjustment?

im not a mechanic but need to know the what the gap should be set at between the nut and spring for the valve

Technically it's 0.0047" or 0.12mm, but I think almost everyone uses this shortcut: loosen the jamb nut and gently tighten the adjuster screw till it seats (use a light touch) then back off 1/4 turn & hold it still while you tighten the jamb nut.
