Default Finding a Carb Jet for 1993 Marathon 4 stroke

I have a 1993 Marathon with the robins 295. Stock carb. The main jet (the one right in the center of the carb if looking up from the bottom) came out a little rough and wanted to strip out on me. I was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of buying a new one?

I found a carb repair kit on discountcartparts, but I really don't need all of the rest of the kit but it did seem reasonably priced at $25. But I didnt know if anybody knew where I could buy just the jet? EZGO website had several but I wasn't sure on which one I needed(and they were around $40. I did not see a size on the jet when I had it out. I also did not see my cart listed on jetsrus where I usually have gotten jets before.

Any help is appreciated

After a little research, I believe I need an 80 main for my carb (Stock 295 setup)
I have found them on the ezgo website for $37
is that the best way to go? any other place to look for them?
can anybody tell me what brand carbs these are so that possibly I could re check jetsrus? I guess if I have to spend the $$$ I will

If the threads are bad try a little aviation gasket sealant (red stuff) from the autoparts store. It usually will make a tight seal if you just slightly tighten the jet and then let it dry.

Even if you have to go buy the sealant it is cheaper than the kits and you have it to use on other projects.

Maybe I wasn't clear in my first post - the threads are fine. The top of the jet just is slightly wore from my screwdriver slipping and the jet hadn't been out in 23 years so it was in there nice and tight. I was just considering replacing it so I can get it out at a later date (don't want it to seize up in there again and my jet be too wore from me being impatient and not using the best fit screwdriver making it so I can't get it out)
