Default 93 gas Club Car charging issues(still)

Recently got this 93 club car gas DS. I have replaced the starter generator, battery, voltage regulator, and the solenoid. I have checked the grounds and cleaned just to make sure. When I hook up the volt meter and test I am getting 12.51 to 12.60. Not enough to keep it charged. Found out that one of the micro switches was replaced but may not be the correct one, car does run after the battery is charged. Would this cause an incorrect charge? I am totally lost as to what else to do to this. Possible an outside chance that the starter gen that was a rebuild off of amazon may have not have been properly rebuilt? Any Ideas/suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

There I a pretty good chance your "Amazon" rebuilt starter is bad. I've seen a very high failure rate even off of local, reputable shops - much less some far off unknown supplier. But before you chuck all that, check a few basics. Make sure you have battery voltage (or more) going through the white wire from the solenoid to the starter/generator while the cart is running. If yes, then disconnect the smaller yellow wire from the starter/generator and run a jumper wire to ground. That would bypass the voltage regulator and all the wires associated with it. Running the engine with the ground jumper in place should have the generator charging full tilt - something over 18 volts.

Don't trust the aftermarket starter/generators. Order an OEM one and you'll be glad you did. They're built to last.
