48 volt club car power drive charger
I have a 98 model club car with lever type F/R control, batteries are at 8.0 to 8.2 volts. The charger has had the relay ,heat sink, reset switch replaced. When you plug charger in ,charger comes on a couple seconds then trips reset switch.I need a few suggestions. This is a regular powerdrive charger,I have replaced these components on a couple of these chargers before, never had this problem.

Re: 48 volt club car power drive charger
If the heatsink didn't fix it, the transformer is bad. Time to replace the charger.

Re: 48 volt club car power drive charger
Ditch the onboard controller and go with a DPI Accusense charger... hands down the best.
I did a ton of reading before buying mine and boy am I glad I did. It's keeping my 9 year old batteries alive and healthy. |
