Re: Insurance
My coverage in campgrounds while driving is under my homeowners insurance.
Strangely enough though, my camper, even though stationary, is covered under my auto insurance. While we're at it, I will say that I think there should be two "kinds" of insurance for campers. One through auto insurance for those that tow their camper and one for those who's campers never leave a permanent campsite. |

Re: Insurance
I have allstate same coverage as a 4 wheeler? $ 60. a year, to be legal. $ 160 a year for full coverage. but had to go as LSV. The state gave the cart a vin#. I was told when I did it 2 years ago that it could only be electric, but now every cart place in town has gas carts for sale that are street legal. I have seen side x side's running around with tag's on them. But can not believe the number of carts running around with no tag's, no insurance, and every cop in town just waves at them. I will take the time and money to be safe where they can not have a dad day and end up in the back of a car going for a ride down town.

Re: Insurance
I too use Foremost. South Carolina. Same coverage as a car and covers it if stolen. $75. Also, my serial # has 3 zeros as well.

Re: Insurance
Zero's are fine if it's a 17 digit VIN.
It's the letter o that is not put in VIN numbers. I'm sort of a grammar nazi, one of my pet peeves is when someone says "o" when they mean zero. I'm kind of a d-bag about it. If someone gives me a phone number and they say "o" instead of zero, I will ask them, by "o" you mean 6? Yeah....I'm that guy... |

Re: Insurance
I said 17 digit VIN.
No auto manufacturer can put a letter "O", "Q", or "I" in a automobile (car, truck etc) in the 17 digit standardized VIN. |

Re: Insurance
Of course....the shorter VIN's are not standardized.
You can have zero's, Q's and O'q right next to each other... |
