Tomberlin Emerge goes 1/2 mile then loses power
I have a Tomberlin Emerge when I got it the only issues were that it wouldn't stop. The repair shop said it needed new batteries and master cylinder. After replacing the batteries and getting the brake issue resolved the speedometer quit working and it ran very sluggish. We then replace the speed sensor. Now it will go great for about half a mile and then just die out. If we let it sit for a few minutes then push it to start it will go a little more. Also, I have noticed a bright flash coming from under it when starting it by pushing it and smells like something is getting hot/burning. The speedometer is working after replacing the speed sensor.

Seems like a motor issue- very common, the motors are weak.
The controller is giving you a code- give me that code it may help Also, I doubt you needed a master cylinder, just the brakes properly bleed. |
