Re: Opinion on Used Gas Club Car
Well brought the Gasser Home....
so a 2008 Club Car DS is not sitting on my back patio !! we got there and friend wanted to validate compression, so we pulled plug and hooked up the gauge, and turned it over, kicked out around 155 psi on several different test tries !! per factory should be 156 psi, so can not complain there at all !! will take some pictures when i get some time, and will do a complete once over soon... too darn cold right now, an can not get it in the garage till the 1929 goes back on all fours !! currently up on stands by the door :/ |

Re: Opinion on Used Gas Club Car
Let me take the 29 off your hands, I can tell it is cluttering your garage. I promise not to put a souped up 6.2 supercharged engine in it... .
Glad to see you got the Gasser you won't be disappointed..... With it being that cold I hope it came with the windshield |

Re: Opinion on Used Gas Club Car
yeah, not gonna happen, but if you are ever in town or around, gladly take you for a ride, once its running...
here is how it sits right now: Interior after it was done, a good friend up in Mass did all the work, it is a LeBaron Boney Kit, New Vinyl Roof, Top Half of engine, and Engine as it sits right now I have almost 5 years into it, tons of hours, and plenty of sweat and equity... but i am happy with it, looking good and when i fire it back up after 3 years of NOT running You will know I will be hooting and hollering and doing back flips !! |

Re: Opinion on Used Gas Club Car
Hey thanks for showing me those pics, as I am a car buff, the engine looks beautiful and I would be glad to take a ride in such a pretty automobile, thinking to myself self, I'm trying to remember the horsepower output of that engine you have ,I want to say like 60 horses.... Is that close on the horsepower?
