12v or 6 v batteries?
Ok so I acquired a 36v ezgo cart but it doesn't have batteries. I want to make sure everything works before doing upgrades to the cart. I was looking at batteries and I noticed they sell 12v golf cart batteries. Is there a reason not to use 3 12v golf cart batteries (3 12v at 72lbs is 216lbs 6v at 60lbs is 360lbs) instead of 6 6volt? Then when I'm ready to upgrade to 48v I could just ad one more 12v battery(of course upgrade controller wires and motor).
Thanks for the advice |
