Battery meter on constantly?
I bought an old 94 clubcar DS which is in pretty good shape and suits my needs for running around the retirement community. My question is it has a battery meter on the dash that works but it's on even when the key is off. Does the meter draw enough power to be concerned. I am guessing it must be wired wrong but can't seem to figure out how to correct. I am guessing it's has a very small draw on batteries but wanted to be sure.

It is more of a personal preference than the draw on the battery pack.
I personally have my only come ON when the Key is ON since it servers no purpose to me when I am not driving the cart. Some folks say they like it ON all the time so they can walk by and look at it... If I walk by my cart and I see the meter ON, I know the key is ON. All You need to do is move the wire to the other terminal of the key switch. |

Don't forget to put the cart in tow, if equipped, and remove the main negative and positive cables from the battery bank.

Just a thought before you tear into the dash. Check your battery pack to make sure the meter is not directly connected to battery pack.
