Default EZ-GO TXT Stiff Suspension

I am a new member and my first post so I apologize if I post something incorrectly ahead of time.

I have a 2005 EZ-GO TXT cart that is used for golfing only. 12" wheels and fairly thin tires but not rubber bands. No lift kit and don't want the cart lifted.

A few years ago the shocks and leaf springs got changed out from stock due to being old.
Currently, the cart has all H/D coil-over shocks (front and back) as well as H/D Leaf springs (front and Back).

The coil over shocks were purchased more for the look rather than the ride quality at the time. Now with wanting to focus on ride quality, its time to reconsider.

The ride is way too stiff and bounces with every pebble it seems like. Ideally i would like to have the smoothest ride possible so when you hit a bump there is more of a gentle sway/rocking feeling as compared to a jarring feeling like it has now.

Would going back to stock (standard) shocks and leaf springs be the best route or are there some other combinations to get the smoothest ride?

Thanks!

The stock configuration will likely give the result you are looking for.

Just one data point here, but my HD springs feel fine driving fast on paved roads, gravel, and grass. I do have a rear seat and two extra batteries, so a little more weight. My wife and I combined weigh under 300. Stock shocks and tires.

Get rid of the coilover shocks first. If it is still too stiff for your liking then swap springs.
