Default what drive system is this?

As per my other thread, I'm looking for a project cart. Came across another and confused trying to figure out what system it is. Looks like the FNR is all one unit mounted against the seat cowling. The solenoid being right there and another smaller looking battery?
Thanks for any help.

Even if I can get it for a song? (Say around $200). Would a carts unlimited conversion kit be worthwhile on this?

Talking Re: what drive system is this?

Yes if all the other stuff is nice and drives good. These are the carts I like to find myself and build what I want.

As stated some one put a older resistor cart running gear in it. That small box in front of the batteries is a set of coils.

Agreed. Unless the chassis and battery rack is solid I would move on. If they are solid and you REALLY like a project,.......

Check and see if there is any rust on the frame around the battery area. If the frame looks good. Yes It is worth a couple hundred if you want some thing to build like you want it........ I see Gornoman said this all ready
