Surprisingly, very little glitter. Nothing beyond the ordinary.

The oil is badly diluted with fuel and probably some water.
The pile of goo in the middle is shredded gasket material from the front cover. Literally disintegrated and got sucked/squeezed into the engine and all of that and more was stuck under the oil pickup screen.

It's back together now with a new gasket and crank seal from CC. Gotta get it stuck back in the cart tomorrow and pop the carb apart and find out why it's getting so much fuel.

Was gonna say looks a little milkshaked but not too bad. Usually when you see the pile of sludge, at least most of them I've taken apart, its metallic. But yours are probably maintained more and abused less

Last one I had with all the gas in the oil the fuel pump diaphragm had a crack so it went right into the pulse line. Carb was fine

I guess "less abused" is relative.

Well there was a dead mouse, but it wasn't inside the engine!

She's back together now, got about 20 minutes of run time on it today and have no fuel in the pulse line, and no indication of a problem from the carb. Nothing even remotely dirty in the carb. Nothing in the bowl or anywhere else.
I was thinking maybe something got through and got stuck in the float needle and kept it open and let fuel trickle into the engine a little here and there, but all that was clean and like I said, not even a bit of dirt in the bowl or anywhere else in the carb.
Still could be a float problem, so after it sits for a day or so I'll pull the intake hose off the carb and take a look inside the throat and see if there's fuel puddled up. I have another OEM carb I can put on it if this one ends up having a problem.
