Alltrax XCT Controller Installation Orientation
Just curious how everyone mounted their XCT controller? I mounted mine with the fan on the bottom as per the Alltrax instructions, but I see a lot of posts with the fan on the top. Just curious what are the advantages/disadvantages of mounting it either way.

Hot air rises, so the fan on top blowing inward is working against gravity.
 However, mounting with fan on bottom puts air intake closer to the water and dirt splashes up. I gave some thought about remounting fan in housing so it blows out and top mounting it, but end up mounting the XCT sideways, so it doesn't matter where the fan is mounted or which way it blows.  |

The orientation per instructions with mine say fan on top. Going off how they describe the terminals and plugs compared to cart.

I made a mounting bracket for mine and have it flat. Mine isn't a TXT though. I put screen inside the front grille also to keep the bugs out of it.
