TXT will go in reverse sometimes

The issue is sometimes when you put it in reverse it will not engage. It always goes foward with no issue. You can hear grinding noise like its slipping on the splines or something. You can go foward and then reverse and it backs up fine. any thoughts on what to check first its a 2012 TXT gas cart

Sounds like the cable is out of adjustment. Look at the mechanism on the trans when you shift to R and see if you can push it a bit further by hand. If so, adjust the cable so it gets full throw

I have a similar issue. Adjusted the cable but no luck. searched everywhere and cant find an exploded view to see what parts is in the transaxle that could be the problem. Any one have any idea or manual?
