Default Still learning lessons

So after looming on here for a a month or so I joined site , I decided to bu a cart , I buy a 2015 club car precedent stock , figure let me patronize a site sponsor ( I feel it’s a good thing to do ) . So I purchase a Alltrax controller and solenoid from Scotty b’s all goes well he would usually answer most questions , (as I know very little about carts ) install is per his instructions 2 months later (15 hrs on unit ) solenoid fails while on vacation don’t know why so I send it back for checking , meanwhile I decide to order a new motor from him I get motor in it goes but he was slow to get me a map to run motor, as it says damage will occur. anyway he test solenoid tells me that either a lot of moisture or a catastrophic event happened not sure what that means ? ( I don’t ride in the rain ) I’m ok with this obviously not his fault here , I just was hoping that after spending $1400 + that maybe 10% off or free shipping on a new solenoid would have been nice ,when I priced a replacement on his site with shipping $100 ,,,, funny I was able to get exact same solenoid on amazon sipped in 2 day $66. Go figure

That’s total cost including shipping.

I’ve had good service from multiple site sponsors, Scotty B especially. Sometimes parts fail, and must be replaced.......Sometimes parts are not properly installed......and must be replaced....

Send him an email or pm to discuss. But sounds like you got a great deal on Amazon, cool.

Yes good deal was gotten ,but would have rather have gotten this from him, Amazon doesn't really stand behind items ,this whole process was and still is a learning curve for me , He did send old one back but now have a useless paperweight , would have rather had a new one I would have paid but would have saved on shipping , I'm guessing he is really busy as when I asked multiple questions I would only get answers to one , and I really didn't want to be a pain ,trying to get knowledge in a area not familer with ....i will get there , great forum though learned a lot from reading .....
