G1 battery tray
Does anyone make a replacement battery tray? Is so where?

I don't believe so. What I did is I found someone who had a full cart they were parting out, it was from the south so it was rust free. I had the guy section out the battery tray with rocker and all and I cut and welded it into my cart. Worked great and it didn't take much work at all, maybe an hour or two. You do have to have a little fab and welding skill, but not a high level. Honestly that repair was one of my first projects with Harbor Freight welder. It's still in the cart after 10 years.
On mine, I also used a plastic battery tray under the battery as a hold down. They can be purchased at an auto parts store. It bolts down with 1/4" fasteners very easily. Use J bolt type battery hold down kit with it and your battery will never move or slide around again. |

I’ve used an old gas grill door, it’s already got 2 sides, just cut the other 2 an inch longer & then bend them up.
