Default Voltage Reducer

I am looking at Scotty Bs diagram. Does anyone have a picture of the fuse they used between the reducer and the battery? It didn’t come with one, so is it something they is suggested or is it necessary?

It is necessary it protects the voltage reducer, on mine the yellow wire goes to the positive on the battery pack and the pic shows a 20 amp in line fuse that you can purchase at any auto parts store.

On the green wire, what is that box and what does it mean where it says switched positive?

I don’t think the box is significant to the schematic. Scotty’s install thread just shows a direct connection to the switched on/off pole of the ignition.
