Marathon Battery installation frame
Hi guys,
New to cart ownership. Bought a 1993 Marathon and the guy had 3 12v batteries in it. I just bought 6 6v batteries to install but they are too wide to fit in the trays in the cart. It looks like I'm going to have to weld up some outboard trays outside the frame rail. Right now its just a hole on both sides. Before I figure out how to do this on my own, I'm hoping someone has pics of the stock battery tray setup, or advice on what to do/not do. TIA |

Re: Marathon Battery installation frame
The battery tray is designed for batteries with a 7-1/8" W x 10-3/8" L footprint.
Here's a wiring diagram for a Marathon, a picture of a forum member's Marathon battery pack and a parts manual for your cart. (Page C-3 has the battery frames) |
