Default Ds d&d motor install.

Just got my first golf cart I got a 1990 ds 36v. Just ordered a d&d motor and not sure which cable goes where. I have the stock club car motor in now. Thanks

Also any tips to help improve it. I just put a 4 gauge wire kit on. And lift and tires are coming.

How old are your batteries? You're really better off converting to 48v if your budget allows. Give Revolution or Unlimited Carts a call and see what they recommend.

Batteries are not that old it’s got one new one cause it burnt a lug off must of loosened up on me. Yeah stock is still in. Just didn’t get any directions as to which wire goes where

Clean off the old motor and see what the posts are labeled and label the cables before removing them, then match to the new motor. They are probably A1,A2,S1,S2. Spray the motor lugs with penetrating oil and use 2 wrenches so the post doesn't spin.

Note the colors of the cables...

Green=A1
White=A2
Orange=S1
Blue=S2
