Default Curtis Controller Replacement Question

I currently have a Curtis controller 1204-410 and I found one on Facebook that’s $80 and it’s a Curtis 1204-412.
Are these interchangeable? The only difference that I’ve noticed is the 1204-412 has post for a A2 cable. The 1204-410 doesn’t have that post. The white cable on my setup goes from the motor to the F/R switch.
If these controllers are interchangeable would I just leave the A2 post alone and keep the A2 white cable from the motor to the F/R switch as is?

At the moment I’m trying to figure out why my solenoids precharge resistor is burning up at it’s narrowed down to the controller. I don’t want to spend $400 dollars and realize there’s something else that was the problem that caused my controller to fail.

Run the FNR cable (white #6) to the A2 post on the controller and then a new #6 from the A2 controller post to the A2 motor post. Many of Series carts were routed this way based on which controller they had.
