Default 91' G8 no voltage at small terminals on solenoid

Hello, New member . No clicking from solenoid and no voltage on small terminals. Can jump large terminals with pliers and cart will move.
Been checking and cleaning wiring connections and adding dielectric grease as needed.
I had to replace both connectors at top micro switch for F&R switch. I have voltage at the connection for the ignition switch. Oh, when I say voltage I have 35-36 volts. All battery connections are clean. Thank you in advance.

I came here to post basically the same problem:

We have a '85 G2-E that died last weekend. Small terminals have no power (wish I would have checked before buying a new solenoid), and jumping the big terminals does get the cart to move.

Last year I replaced the batteries with a lithium one (https://buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=167545), so I don't even use the charging part of the system - not sure if I can just start pulling things out to simplify things to figure out where the circuit's getting broken before hitting the solenoid

Our issue has been fixed: the connectors around the charge port were all corroded and falling apart. Since I don't need the charge port in general anymore, I re-wired it to bypass it and everything's working again

Hmm, I'll look at the charge portfolio corrosion. I did replace this plug when I first got it because the plastic just fell apart when I took the body off, that was 3 years ago. But it does go through dirt and water.
Tell me more about how you eliminated this charge plug? Thanks
