i have a 1995 that i just solved the same problem. My pick up tube in gas tank had a crack in it. So when the gas dropped below the crack it was sucking air and would barely run or not run at all. Saved me from buying a new carb that wouldn't have fixed the issue!!!

I will check the tube again in the morning. Still can't figure out why this seem to happen only after you drive it for about 20-30 minutes and then wait a minute or two and runs fine again.

You may have oil getting into the pulse line from the engine to the fuel pump. If the line sags down anywhere it can collect oil which will block the pulse from getting to the pump.
If the oil is overfilled it can cause a similar issue. Or if the pulse nipple is clogged in the engine it can cause problems.
Check the oil level. If it’s high, drain some out.
Check to make sure the pulse hose runs uphill the whole way. Make sure the pulse nipple is not clogged with crud, use a small screwdriver or straight pick to clear any junk out of it.
Carry a spare spark plug with you, and if the cart dies pull the plug wire off and stick the spare put in, then crank the motor and verify that there is strong white/blueish spark. If spark is dim/yellowish or is not consistent, or starts out strong and then gets weak, then the igniter coil is likely failing.

Well I cleaned out the pickup tube, put some telon tape on the threads of the shut off and also added a o-ring to it and so far so good. Took it on a 8 mile ride and no issues. I will update if anything changes.

Ok i had a chance to swap the coil today. No change at all, it still died. So here is what i have done so far with no fix:

Cleaned fuel tank
Checked vent hose (i even tried it with the fuel cap loose)
Checked fuel feed hose in tank
Checked pulse hose
Replaced all fuel lines and filter
Replaced fuel pump
Replaced coil and spark plug
Been through the carb twice, it is super clean now.

When it dies, i quickly remove the fuel line and it is pumping like crazy. It almost seems like a carb/float issue but it seems to check out ok. When it dies the spark plug is dry with no sign of flooding.

You can get a Carb for about $20 may be worth a try. If it happens again I going to replace mind. I hoping it was a vacuum leak on my shut off. Good luck

I figured it out, I ended up finding that the lower switch in the fuse box was causing my cart to die randomly. When its in test mode and you have it running and push the switch in it grounds the coil power. Obviously when I ran it the switch got hot (only sometimes) and failed. If i sat for a minute or 2 it wold fire up and run perfect. Might be worth a try on yours.
