Default Ez go txt

Hi. I have a48 volt txt. that i took out the 8 volt batteries and put in 4 12 volt deep cycle sealed batteries. I can not get the charger to kick on after using the cart a few days. I think I have wires the charger port up wrong. If I recall there is a white wire a black wire and a smaller red wire. any help would be greatly appreciated

Black to battery pack negative
White to battery pack positive
Small red wire to the controller for lockout (reed switch)

You need to charge the cart every time you drive it and park it. Not charge it every few days. That's why your battery charger won't come on your, battery pack is too low of a reading for the charger to kick on. You can not drive the cart for a few days with out charging it. if they are sealed battery you got the wrong batteries in there anyway and you're charging profile probably does not match your charger
