Default New batteries - now cart won’t move.

Hey Everyone,

Several months ago my 2010 EZGO TXT 48 started dying on me after just a few minutes of riding. It got to the point where it would barely move after a full charge. I automatically assumed the batteries were shot. So it sat for a few months and then today I finally got new batteries and battery cables. Installed them and turn the cart on and hit the gas and I get absolutely nothing in forward and reverse. I triple checked the wiring, the battery gauge turns on, and the charger seems to be charging as usual so I don’t think it’s a battery issue. The other strange thing is my 12v lights aren’t turning on either. I replaced the converter not long before the batteries died on me so it’s basically new. Checked all the fuses going to the converter/lights and none are blown.

Any idea on what I’m the world is wrong? Thanks.

Assuming wireing correct
Tow switch in run position.
What is pack voltage.this will verify battery charger

If your converter isn't powering and it doesn't run, it sounds like something is not connected in your battery pack. Measure the battery voltage and triple check your connections.

I’ll have to get a meter so I can check it. I’ve triple checked everything.

Triple checked the wiring, it matches how it was before and matches EZGO’s 48v diagram. I’ll have to get a meter to check it, but I assume the battery pack is fine since the charger ran and fully charged them with no fault lights.

Got a meter and they are reading 50.6v. I fully charged the batteries 3 days ago and the cart hasn’t been used obviously. That sound about right?

If you are getting 50.6 volts after pressing the pedal to go then I would say Batts are OK
Have you tried putting key in N and run/tow switch to tow and tried pushing cart by hand to see if brake is coming off
