1995 ds very slow uphill
I just purchased a 1995 ds, and trying to figure out why it is so slow going up hill. I checked the batteries and they read 50.1 v. It does seem if I play with the throttle I get more speed sometimes. Ibam just looking for more info on what to test for when I get to camp next weekend.

The previous owner replaced them the beginning of the year. So about 2 months old.

Re: 1995 ds very slow uphill
You will have to define “slow”. And hook a meter up to the battery pack while driving it and watch the pack voltage.
A bad cable or connection can slow it down and you’ll see the voltage drop significantly usually. Keep in mine, 12-14mph on flat pavement is normal. Slowing to around 8mph on those older series carts is normal. Even going from pavement to flat grass will slow it down quite a bit. Also normal. |
