Replacing stock Club Car onboard charger with Lester II Summit

Club Car Precedent 2010 with OBC and factory-fitted charger

I tried to get info here and on YouTube before embarking on this but couldn't, so I hope it may help others if I share how I did this myself.

The first pic shows the factory-fitted Club Car Charger and on the right, you see the standard retractable cord reel.

The second pic shows the Lester charger mounted. This fitted nicely on the original factory-fitted bracket which was a pleasant surprise.

The third pic shows my solution for the retractable cord reel - which was to bolt it to the rear cover. There may be better ways to do this but it felt robust and by this stage, we could see the clouds forming for a thunderstorm and so had to work quickly. (Note: The retractable cord reel was originally rivetted to the factory-fitted charger and we had to drill out the rivetts to remove it).

The Fourth pic shows the complete job with the rear cover being refitted.

The fifth pic shows the rear cover refitted. Previously this was centered but we had to push it over to the right to get it to fit. I actually prefer this as it opens up a small storage space on the left and this is just about the right size for an empty Camelbak after I finish a hike.
