That molex connector that is not attached to anything is probably for turn signal switch on the column that you likely don't have.

I've been working on this cart for a couple weeks now and am no closer to getting it running. :-(
The red wire to the solenoid was not making constant contact in the plug near the controller and would sometimes click the solenoid and sometimes not. I fixed that but wonder if this intermittent on & off clicking of the solenoid fried the controller. We sent off the controller to be rebuilt in 2020 and the cart worked for a while. The owner of it said that it would run and get very hot and then just quit. Today I replaced the speed control potentiometer, notta. The micro switch is good as it clicks the solenoid. Is there anyway to test the controller or do I just rule out everything else and then send it off again ? I'm lost. Buzz |
