How to identify my transaxle/differential
I bought a cart that definitely has been messed with...all different parts from different carts....I am almost positive I have a club car rear end....ezgo body (chinese clone ezgo at that)
What I want to do is identify the transaxle and rear end. I don't know if someone could have put a rear axle with differential on and mated up with another transaxle or if that's not possible....the differential can only mate with the right transaxle I'm assuming....if thats the case it seems as if I have a club car rear end. I say I have club car rear end because from pics of the older club car rear ends it looks like it is a semi floating axle where the hub and axle are all one piece. There is no separate hub that gets slid on to the axle and castle nut holding it in... |
