Default Transmission Wiring Issue

Hello all. I bought this EZGO E1787 a couple of days ago and am trying to get it running. We found several wires either broke off or just no sign of where they went. In the pictures, the red wire with the white strip has no known place it goes. And in another picture on the back of the transmission there is a small black wire with a new end connector. There was an old connector here that was broken off so we assume its where the wire belongs. Can anyone tell me where the red wire is supposed to be?

Where did that solenoid come from?? looks like a ford solenoid off a truck 12V not for a 36V cart, check it I bet it is a 12V solenoid
