Default 03 TXT Electric differential oil change

I have read a lot of the posting about differentials and I have a 2003 TXT Electric with Precision Drive System. The differential has a drain plug and does not have a vent plug on axel nor a fill plug up top. So I am gathering that I drain the oil out through the drain plug, take the drain pan out, put drain plug back in, fill pan with oil, lift cart up level, chalk pan and reinstall pan evenly. Is this right – ezgo gave me no other way to re-fill differential?

If I have to drop the pan on the bottom, why don't I just put oil in it before I reattach it?

I use an oil syringe.

Specifically that one. Fits perfectly. Can extract the garbage oil out and then put back in good oil. Measures well too.

Or you could go to your local Home Medical Supply and get a Catheter tip 50CC syringe for about $1.00 and some clear plastic tubing.
