Battery Question
My batteries have the proper acid level and when they are fully charged they read 6.52 to 6.58. They are 5 years old and I have been very good about clean connections and keeping them charged. I have been noticing some acid on top of the batteries after charging. Why is it doing this? Other than this they seem to be fine. Thanks

Re: Battery Question
As batteries age they become less receptive to recharging. The charger can work harder and longer to bring them up to the pre-set cut off voltage. This harder charge can result in more vapor being released. Try letting the water level go down. All that is needed is enough water to cover the lead plates.
