Re: OBC part numbers
Robnhood.... If your 99 and your 96 are both series cars (Lever style F&R switch) you can make the 99 OBC work, but you're going to have to modify the way it mounts up. 96 were angle mount, 99 were flush mount. You're going to have to cut and splice a few wires, but it's easy. It's all color coded the same between the two. If you want to order a new OBC, the part number for the 1996 DS Series 48V car is 101800606

Re: OBC part numbers
Good deal.... FYI... Red is Positive, yellow is negative, and brown provides a negative charge to the amber light in the dash to turn it on when necessary.

Re: OBC part numbers
TahoeDawg in the wiring diagram it doesn't show any wires hooked to the negative battery voltage. does it need to be hooked up to anything going into the 96 since it didnt have that bolt on the original OBC? Thanks

Re: OBC part numbers
The black wire hanging out of the OBC? It was there on the 96, but it was found about a foot or so down the harness hanging out of the loom. It goes to B- on the controller.
